If not now – then when?
Despite current widespread disruption there will never be a better time to trigger the changes needed to secure against different forms of escalating systemic-crisis
BIG BUSINESS MAY turn out to be the good guys after all. For some people, that may not seem a welcome suggestion, but the fact is that against all the odds, and contrary to the increasing sway of popular opinion against them, multinationals and faceless conglomerates have the potential for an extraordinary comeback. Unpopular, despised and derided by the general public as Banking, Oil, Energy, Pharmaceuticals and Media corporations have sometimes become, they and their fellow corporate-giants in other industries – along with Little Business – nevertheless have the power to edge the global economy away from progressive chaos. Furthermore, it may be that they alone have that power. In a global economy in desperate search of heroes the biggest surprise of all may be that, unloved and unwanted, it is Big Business that despite everything saves the world.
